Rijah Newell is a Maine resident, and an emerging performance artist with a focus in theatrical puppetry, dance, and all things circus. Newell is the creator and director of Circus `Ole and feast of fools, an animal free circus that hit stages in the spring of 2012. Rijah provided a platform for local and traveling artists to not only showcase their talents but work together as a unified force to raise awareness about the abuse of captive circus animals.
